Tema VPN Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data the Tema VPN mobile app ("App") collects, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

• Account: email address, display name (if provided), Google account identifier when signing in with Google, profile photo URL (if provided by Google).
• Device and identifiers: installation ID (derived from Android ID), model, OS and app version — for device limits and security; Android Advertising ID and SDK installation identifiers — for advertising, analytics and crash reporting.
• Subscription: Premium status, expiry, Google Play or web checkout transaction identifiers.
• Approximate location: country determined from your IP address — to choose the ad network and recommend the nearest server. We do not collect precise (GPS) location.
• Technical data: aggregated connection statistics (not traffic content), crash reports, anonymous usage analytics.

2. Data we do not collect

Tema VPN does not log browsing history, does not store the contents of your internet traffic, and does not sell personal data to third parties.

3. Purposes

• providing the VPN service and managing subscriptions;
• authentication and account security;
• customer support and service improvement;
• showing ads in the free version and measuring their performance;
• usage analytics and crash diagnostics;
• legal and payment compliance.

4. Sharing

Data may be processed on our servers and by trusted processors (hosting, analytics, payment providers) solely for the purposes above and under data protection agreements.

The App uses third-party SDKs that receive device identifiers (including the Advertising ID), device information and app usage events:

• Google AdMob — advertising (Google Privacy Policy);
• Yandex Mobile Ads — advertising (Yandex Privacy Policy);
• AppMetrica — usage analytics (AppMetrica terms);
• Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics — analytics and crash reports (Firebase privacy);
• Google Play Billing — subscription purchases.

You can opt out of personalized ads or reset your Advertising ID in Android settings under Google → Ads. Premium users are not shown ads.

5. Retention and security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Access tokens are stored in the device secure storage. We apply organizational and technical safeguards against unauthorized access.

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days after a deletion request. Payment records may be kept for up to 3 years where required by law.

6. Your rights and account deletion

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@artemyshka.ru (subject "Tema VPN account deletion") or via the in-app support section under About & support. Full instructions: https://artemyshka.ru/delete-account.

7. Children

The service is not intended for users under 16.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available at https://artemyshka.ru/privacy and in the App.
